The World Turns!

I can't believe that the 25th of March will see the return of British Summertime. Especially so as it's snowing as I write! Still; lots of astronomy to do before the light nights get too bad. :-)

An epic weekend at Dalby Forest Starfest with fellow members of the society and many visitors from as far afield as Devon and the Isle of Man. Weather awful on Friday, amazingly goos all of Saturday night and cloudy Sunday (but the sical was first rate) - another successful camp.

Glad to see they had visible aurora in Scotland though.

Study Centre and Hints & TipsGeneral

Posted by Mark Tissington 2014-04-17 15:24:53

I intend putting together a series of pdf info sheets and links to others better qualified than I to pass on information. The study centre will be an area for those wanting to increase their knowledge of the night sky.

The Hints and Tips will be a similar format but will focus on how to get photographs of the night sky.

Please bear with me as I develop the site.
